Dr. Haymore is a recognized leader in workplace violence prevention, occupational health and safety, and strategic human resource management. His training initiatives are designed to integrate employee safety with sound human resource practices and leadership development. Drawing on over two decades of experience across diverse industries, including healthcare, government, engineering, science, manufacturing, education, faith-based organizations, and non-profits, he offers extensive expertise and valuable insights to his profession.  

​Dr. Haymore earned his Ph.D. in HRD/Organizational Development and Change (ODC) as well as his MBA in Management. ​He holds multiple professional certifications including SHRM-CP, PHR, WVTS, OSHA-30, TECC, CPR, and Mental Health First Aid. John is an active member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), and the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD). 

​​​Dr. Haymore’s research and consulting focus on workplace violence prevention, occupational safety, threat management, employee coping, and human resources. John is trained in HaganaH (F.I.G.H.T) and is an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor. He also provides corporate self-defense training in hand-to-hand combat, empty hand versus knife scenarios, ground survival techniques, firearms safety, and active shooter preparedness.
